BORROWING BOOKS
Books are loaned out for a three week period.
Only two books may be checked out at a time.
Only one playaway may be checked out at a time.
You are given a three day grace period after the due date to return your book, in case you left it at home or you were sick.
After that three day grace period, the library automation system charges 10 cents per school day for overdue books.
You may renew a book if you aren't finished. If there is a hold on your book, you will have to turn it in for other students to read, rather than getting it renewed.
If your overdue book fine is greater than $3.00, you will not be able to check out any more books until it is paid.
If you've lost or damaged a book and owe the replacement cost, you will not be able to check out anymore books until that is paid.
If you have lost or damaged a book, you must pay the replacement cost. Do not purchase a copy yourself to replace the book as it may not be accepted. If you can't afford the fee, talk to the librarian. You can work out a deal to pay off your fine by working in the library.
